Open Opportunities

This fast paced life demands a lot from  us. It demands for time, strength and energy for the security of the ambiguous future. With this kind of lifestyle brought about by the world. It seems that the life  becomes a passing moment, like a cold wind, swift and agile. Usually, there is no  time to meditate on the experiences that shape our lives. We become drifting logs in a roaring river being swept by its current. We try to skip today  to grab hold of the opportunity that tomorrow might bring. We live our lives in short breaths.

It would be a shocker if  tomorrow never comes. A wasted opportunity. A waste of life. The world has not  prepared us for this kind of eventuality. Can we avoid this? No, We cannot.  We  have no power over  tomorrow but we do have the power to live today! We miss a lot of opportunities when we rush things and a lot of moments go to waste. This is not the kind of life God wants for us. He wants us to Live! Each moment and each breath holds an open opportunity waiting to be discovered.  So, Pause, step back and listen.

Pause. Take a  closer look at yourself. Its the most opportune time to rediscover the unexplored world within you. Dive into the depths of your heart and explore the spirit that lives within.

Step back. Seek for His wisdom and blessings in each encounter, may it be significant, trivial or heartbreaking.

Listen. In the silence of your heart His voice will echo and lead you to find light in the darkest of nights. Humility in the roaring applause of praise.Courage in the midst of terror.Generosity when there is only one’s self to give.  Self-control when temptation casts its enchantment. Trust in time of great doubt, faith to move mountains.  Life’s open opportunity is hidden within you.

Embrace every moment for it contains a wealth of opportunities. “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few”. Luke 10:2 . Trust in the Lord who holds the future. Allow him the opportunity to create miracles in our your life for he lives in you. LIVE!
